The Human Side of Data-Driven Design

I am a Senior UX Professional and Human Factors specialist with a Master of Science in the field, currently based in Marseille, France.

With a career built at the intersection of cognitive psychology and product strategy, I don't just design interfaces; I engineer the mental models that make them work. My approach is rooted in Evidence-Based Design—using behavioral economics and cognitive theory to solve complex problems for global leaders like Google, Meta, and McDonald’s.

What I Bring to the Table:

  • Scientific Rigor: I apply my M.S. in Human Factors to reduce cognitive load and improve "learnability" in data-dense environments, from FinTech platforms to industrial dashboards.

  • Ethical Strategy: I focus on creating solutions that meet project objectives while respecting the user, ensuring that business goals never come at the cost of a transparent and dignified user experience.

  • Global Perspective, Local Presence: After years of navigating high-scale US tech ecosystems, I’ve relocated to Marseille. I’m currently immersing myself in the French language and culture (B1 level) and am eager to apply my international expertise to the thriving European tech scene.

Current Research & Focus: The Future of Trust in AI

As AI transitions from a tool to a "social assistant," I am deeply interested in how we build trust and confidence between humans and machines. Drawing on the CASA (Computers Are Social Actors) paradigm, my current research focuses on the ethical integration of AI within Human Factors. I explore how social cues in design influence user perception, aiming to create AI-driven experiences that feel helpful and transparent rather than intrusive or deceptive.

Beyond the Screen

When I’m not analyzing user mental models or auditing information architecture, you can find me exploring the Calanques, exploring the city through photography, or practicing my French at a local cafe.

Let’s connect to build products that feel as natural as they are powerful.
